Kubuca started with a simple frustration: we were tracking everything and understanding nothing.
Nobody needs another number. People need to know whether the plate in front of them is a good idea — right now, in the two seconds before they eat it.
Everything we build gets judged against that. If a feature doesn't change a decision, it doesn't ship.
Priyansh is 17, in Class 12, and has been building Kubuca in his head for three years.
He tried the apps already out there. Every one of them had the same problem: they gave you a calorie number and stopped. Nothing about what the food actually did to you, and nothing about what to eat next.
So he set out to build something that goes far beyond a calorie counter — an app that understands your food and helps you make a better choice every day. His goal is simple: every person, healthy.
When he's not studying or working on Kubuca, he's on the football pitch. That's where he learned that small daily habits are what win.
Remote-first, small, and deliberately unhurried about headcount. If you care about food and about not shipping clutter, talk to us.
Questions, feedback, or something you think we got wrong — we read everything.
